Compatibility matrix
Two of the columns below are about chat history, and they mean different things:- Recall chat history: your AI can pull relevant context from your past conversations on demand. It decides when to search and writes its own query.
- Sync chat history: new conversations on this platform are captured into MemoryPlugin automatically as you have them. Syncing is browser-extension only.

MCP clients (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, and others) can recall your chat history through the
recall_chat_history tool, but they can’t capture it. Capturing new conversations happens only through the browser extension, on the six platforms marked above.Primary platforms

MCP clients
