Open the extension panel, go to the Settings tab, and turn on Automatically add memories in new conversations. That’s it: when you send your first message in a new chat, your memories go in without you clicking anything.

What it looks like

When you send the first message of a new chat, the extension shows an Auto-injecting memories prompt with a 5-second countdown and a Cancel button, then injects. The countdown is your escape hatch: hit Cancel for any conversation you want to keep memory-free.

Steps

1

Open Settings

Click the floating MemoryPlugin button on a supported site, then open the Settings tab.
2

Turn on the toggle

Enable Automatically add memories in new conversations.
3

Pick your bucket

Auto-inject uses the bucket selected in the panel dropdown, so keep the right one selected for what you’re working on.
Auto-inject covers new conversations. For a chat that’s already underway, activate it manually with the inject button or the Add Memories pill.
