In your dashboard, click Connect in the sidebar and open the Access tab. Your token is under Authentication Token; click Copy. Direct link: memoryplugin.com/dashboard/connect?tab=access.
The token used to live under Settings → Integrations. It moved to Connect when the Connect page launched, and Settings no longer has an Integrations tab.
You need the token for the local MCP server, the TypingMind plugin, custom GPTs, and direct API access. The remote MCP server and the browser extension sign in with your account instead, so they don’t need it.
Treat the token like a password. It grants full access to your memories and chat history. If it leaks, click Regenerate on the same Access tab; the old token stops working immediately.
