To switch: open the extension panel and pick a bucket from the dropdown under the header. Do it before you inject, so the AI gets the right context for the conversation. To create: use the bucket selector at the top of the dashboard sidebar.

Switching buckets

  • Browser extension: click the floating MemoryPlugin button, then choose from the Bucket dropdown (defaults to All Memories).
  • Dashboard: the bucket selector sits at the top of the sidebar. Press ⌘B / Ctrl+B to open it from the keyboard.
  • MCP server or Custom GPT: just ask, for example “Load memories from my Work bucket.”

Creating a bucket

Open the bucket selector

In your dashboard, click the bucket selector at the top of the sidebar.

Choose the type

Click New Memory Bucket (or New File Bucket for uploaded documents).

Name it and create

Type a name like “Work Projects”, then click Create Bucket. Names must be unique and cannot be digits only.
Every account starts with a General bucket, and new memories land there by default. There is no limit on how many buckets you can create.
